News / Journal
August brought a family holiday-come-research trip to Gibraltar where I was delighted to be asked to speak about my writing on local TV and for an article in the Gibraltar Chronicle. One gratifying corollary to that was the bunch of (unrelated) emails I then received from old school friends, who contacted me to say they’d read and enjoyed the book!
My Weekly also published my first short story this month, Ssh it’s a Secret - you can click here to read it.
September brought the chance to do a bit more planning for Book three, which will be based locally in Rochester. Have now just recently arrived back from my brother’s wedding in Gibraltar so it’s time to knuckle back down to work - I’ve been invited to come and dig around in the local archives so I’m looking forward to putting aside a few mornings for that in October!
